ALAFIA explore la rencontre entre les rythmes africains traditionnels et les sonorités électroniques contemporaines. Percussions ancestrales, textures électroniques et énergie de la danse composent une signature musicale singulière.

ALAFIA explores the encounter between traditional African rhythms and contemporary electronic sounds. Ancestral percussion, electronic textures and the energy of dance make up a singular musical signature.

Inscrit dans une recherche artistique autour de l'identité hybride, l'album relie héritage culturel et création contemporaine. Pensé pour l'écoute autant que pour la scène, il propose une expérience sonore immersive où le son, le corps et le mouvement dialoguent.

Rooted in an artistic exploration of hybrid identity, the album connects cultural heritage with contemporary creation. Designed for listening as much as for the stage, it offers an immersive sonic experience in which sound, body and movement are in dialogue.

IDENTITÉ HYBRIDE est un projet de création musicale et chorégraphique. Œuvre expérimentale en temps réel, il mêle improvisation, musique électronique, sons organiques et rythmes africains, dans une esthétique afro-futuriste. À travers le recyclage d'objets électroniques, de plastiques et de matériaux usagés, le projet questionne la transformation du réel et propose une expérience artistique à la croisée du corps, du son et de la technologie. Chaque performance est unique, vivante et participative.

IDENTITÉ HYBRIDE is a musical and choreographic creation project. An experimental work in real time, it blends improvisation, electronic music, organic sounds and African rhythms in an Afrofuturist aesthetic. Through the recycling of electronic objects, plastics and used materials, the project questions the transformation of reality and offers an artistic experience at the crossroads of body, sound and technology. Every performance is unique, alive and participatory.

RIEN À ABORDER #IA est une performance contemporaine qui explore les possibilités de la création musicale en temps réel à travers le live coding, le son et l'image. Porté par Ivalmok, le projet est mené en collaboration artistique avec le chorégraphe Abdoulaye Trésor Konaté. Musique jouée en direct, platines et percussions, live coding, danse et participation du public s'y mêlent. Le public est le « troisième interprète » : chaque participant devient acteur et spectateur.

RIEN À ABORDER #IA is a contemporary performance that explores the possibilities of real-time music creation through live coding, sound and image. Led by Ivalmok, the project is developed in artistic collaboration with choreographer Abdoulaye Trésor Konaté. Live music, turntables and percussion, live coding, dance and audience participation come together. The audience is the “third performer”: every participant becomes both actor and spectator.

Le processus de création est rendu visible par la projection en temps réel du code et des transformations sonores : l'écriture musicale devient simultanément audible et lisible. Le titre dit sa philosophie : on n'explique pas, on vit.

The creative process is made visible through the real-time projection of the code and of the sound transformations: musical writing becomes both audible and legible. The title states its philosophy: we don't explain, we live.

Artiste multidisciplinaire togolais, Ivalmok est ancien membre du Ballet National du Togo. Il compose pour la danse contemporaine en Afrique de l'Ouest et développe une démarche afrofuturiste où les rythmes endogènes dialoguent avec la musique électronique et le live coding.

A Togolese multidisciplinary artist, Ivalmok is a former member of the Ballet National du Togo. He composes for contemporary dance in West Africa and develops an Afrofuturist approach in which endogenous rhythms enter into dialogue with electronic music and live coding.

Son travail a été accueilli en résidence et sur scène à Marseille, Pantin, Dunkerque, Lyon, Strasbourg, Dakar, Saint-Louis, Cotonou et Lomé. En janvier 2026, il publie son premier album, ALAFIA, et poursuit les créations IDENTITÉ HYBRIDE et RIEN À ABORDER #IA.

His work has been hosted in residency and on stage in Marseille, Pantin, Dunkirk, Lyon, Strasbourg, Dakar, Saint-Louis, Cotonou and Lomé. In January 2026 he released his first album, ALAFIA, and continues to develop the creations IDENTITÉ HYBRIDE and RIEN À ABORDER #IA.
